First of all, my apologies for missing my Friday deadline with the mixtape. I try to keep a tight schedule, but these “things” happen. So about these “things…”
TWO THINGS HAPPENED
One; Friday turned into a longer, busier day than I expected. So before I set out on the rest of my day, I took the tracks I planned to include in this week’s tape, put them on a USB drive, and headed off to take care of bid’ness. As you might know, I freelance on the side. Some work had piled up, and it required my immediate attention. After that, there were a few other things that “fell into the scene”; Take Two. Saturday also turned into another busy day, right up until about 6:00pm, when I started working on the cover art for this tape. I finished up, and went to grab the USB drive…
Two; the USB drive went missing. I’ve been looking for it high and low, and there’s a good chance it’s been lost in a sea of people somewhere downtown. Can’t say where exactly, but oh well, thems are the breaks. I still have the tracks, but they’re on another computer in my office. And I’m not going to stop by there until Monday.
So there we have it. The case of the missing mixtape solved. Expect a Monday release, followed by (assuming the quality of the tracks are good next week) an early release on Thursday for the following mixtape.
